For the last 3 days I have been to 2 Target shops in my area buying a few of the Clearview lamps. As time went by I returned 3 lamps todate due to heavy cloudyness in the liquid. I have kept 2 of them since they were hard to find in the Yellow and Purple colors. Both are cloudy but not as bad as the others I had bought and these have no wax streaks all over the inner vase. Both are 32z models the Yellow is #4408 and the Purple is #4425. They use a 25w bulb in them since they may melt the upper plastic cup holder if 40w bulbs are being used. I have begun to run the 2 globes I have in sliver streak base with 40w bulb so they will hopefully clear up faster over time. The cost was yes Cheap $22.00 and they may have many returns on them very soon from the buying public. I will update this forum as time goes by.

From what I have seen so far it looks like the same formula from the Neons.

The vase on the center Silver Streak is an older China version from yrs ago. Perhaps they should return to this older Formula.

I have now been to over 7 Target shops in my travels and the Hardest color version to find is the Yellow version followed by the Purple version. Most of the Target shops have many in the Red version for sale. However they really need to fix this cloudy issue it is a BAD IMAGE FOR LAVA LAMPS. Perhaps this is another reason why Mathmos may not sell there lamps here in the USA because of what LL has done to the World of Lava as we know it.

Clearview LOL more like cloudyview haha

The base and cap does look very well on both of these colors however I saw one on the Red versions at Target that had been opened and the finish was OK.

What is nice is Lava Lite has added a 90day warrenty from the shop that it was bought from so you can make a return within that time frame. After that LL needs to be called at 1-800-336-5282 for Authorization.

Customers that go to Target and see these Lamps and read the box with Its Soothing-Peaceful-Beautiful-Social-Entertaining-And Stress Relief that is written on them will have a Bad experience upon opening and turning them on. The photo here shows the best 2 of a few that I had bought in 2 shops. The Box also says that this design will show you more Lava action then before. This is very true as long as you have a good Lamp.

OMG! Those are very cloudy Bohdan :( Sorry to hear it.

They should be called Cloudyview, I see their scientists have been working hard to fix their formula once again

Took photos of there caps. They were made on 04-23-12 batch C2 for the purple version and 04-14-12 batch C1 for the yellow version. They have changed the original formula as what they should have been to these Cheaper ones to be sold to make a faster profit which will now hurt there sales.

Looks like I see a clear/black Colossus to the right; and another tube lamp behind it?

Just bought a Clear View in red... IF they all look as good as the one I bought today; AND they flow nicely I may want to buy all other colors. My Clear View review.

Clear View

Here is what the bottoms look like on the yellow and purple versions. Seems the reds are the way to go for now. Both globes have that white dye leaking and just sitting on the bottom. When you see this the lamp will never clear up the dye will just keep right on coming out of the wax. This is a very cheap wax for the yellows and purples.
