This will be a place to add new lamps from the few Companies that still make and sell Lava lamps along with there other cool lights .

Over time I see Mathmos as the main leader for this forum from there Lava to there other lights.

What will Lava Lite bring to the table for the world to buy. Looks like they may have there factory here in 2015 but will it have the machines to make the lamps or will it just be a place to assemble the lamps as they arrive from China which will be cheaper to make it happen.

If you see something new or even something that is still for sale post it here like these that can still be bought and are now on sale for $10.00 with there flared plastic see thru base with nice looking  top base port holes.

Perhaps one day soon we will see a Dr Who Lava lamp.

Something new from LL China.

17” Lava Colormax™ Lamp with White wax, Clear Liquid, hand painted globe, psychedelic Lava® lamp decal base & cap.

Another wrap called the psychedelic 17".

With China's massive manufacturing background I can't understand why they're not leaders in lava lamp design. All they have to do is create the design concepts on computer, make three dimensional parts out of billet aluminium, polish the finished aluminium parts, get new ideas on bottle design, add a light socket & power lead. Instead of playing it safe with the same old design & covering it with stickers. To me it's a complete no brainer on how to succeed financially.

Yes LL can make it happen but they are so cheap. Look what happened in 2014 when they released the Heritage Century collection we had 3 color globes with 2 color base in silver and gold but no black the globes arrived cloudy and many non-working due to a cheap wax and they had no inner heat reflectors like the originals had so they flowed cold. I had to buy 6 lamps to have clear versions and returned 3 they were so bad.

LL no longer understands there lamps and soon we will even see there Grande lamps done in Wraps.

China has enormous manufacturing potential but when it comes to design they really lack the design that the West has, in time this is slowly changing. However some companies can make high quality products in China like Apple and Sony but LL I think just does not care.

Something new for the Star trek collector.

From LL China coming soon The Create your own Grande using 4 Globes and 3 Base color combos.

Nice to see the yellow/red version once again which was sold in the Bob Marley Grandes.

They should have done a blue/white in this run.

If I create my own to buy I would have this Grande version.

Do Lava Lite only make 110 volt lamps for the American market or do they make 230/220 volt lamps as well? Was looking at their .com website through their discounted items & there was one particular lamp that would be nice to own that's if they do worldwide shipping also. I've had a step down transformer in the past but it used so much electricity that I stopped using it in disgust. It would be perfect if LL China made lamps for sale in their own country as their power distribution network is the same as ours.
