Now that Mathmos 50th has ended and there Ann. was a great success with all of there great looking lamps and many new Classics I wonder what LLs 50th will be. Mathmos is still a great icon that is still made in England however LL as an icon is now made in China so is it really considered an American icon. Will LL be releasing said 52z and 32z in there 50th gold color and will they still have the Heritage formula lamps that were to be the best that they could make using premium parts.

We shall soon see what they will have for this year and what there greatest 50th Ann. lamps will be.

The Starships versions on these look very nice.

We have another version however its a 20z small lamp yet it has Multi Glitter within . How will there new glitter lamps run and will they over heat fast like there early versions did.

I don't hate the glitter one, the base looks fake gold but it is the best one so far, hope the glitter doesn't stall. Now one for the West Coast Surf Generation.

What a shame that all LL can make for the world is 20z lamps. They are cheap to buy and throw away.

The best Glitter out there to buy is still from the store called 5below.

LL has released there new Lava Disco once again. This one is called the Mini Disco Ball.

LLs new 50th ann. comes in the Aristocrat and perhaps the Grande version. They have added a gold colored base as I thought they might.

I wonder how much of their sales are in disco stuff as they keep making the stuff. I know it is pretty much OEM and they slap a name on it, so it is easy to ship over from China. I wonder if the bases are any nicer than their usual?

The 50th ann. lamp in its gold looks nice considering its not a warp version with 50th printed on it. LL will sell quite a few of them and we may even see a Century version made up. They may even add a 32z 50th version like the gold version I saw a while ago.

I was hoping they would do a special colour combination never done before? I am curious to see the quality of the bases.

Well just as I thought LL has released the 32z version in the 50th which means the Century version may be next.

The only problem I see here is the vase color of Yellow wax and purple liquid is a bad color choice for this gold lamp it should have been Red wax with yellow liquid as there lamps from many yrs ago were.

This Yellow wax/purple made in China has and will always be a bad choice they are cloudy non-working most of the time.

LL has made a re-release of the Rainbow version. I had there original versions done yrs ago and after a while the color started to peel off. Hopefully this new version will last longer.

16.3" Premier -Multi Color Globe/White Wax/Clear Liquid

  • A hand-painted 5 color glass globe makes the white wax appear to change color as it flows up and down the globe.
  • Stylish silver base
  • Watch the different-sized formations of melted wax collide, flow, and split apart through the 5 color globe

17" Frosted Star Lava Lamp-Silver Glitter/Blue Liquid

  • Hand-etched frosted stars on the glass glove add a fun design element
  • Sparkling glitter gives off a twinkling star effect

Looks like LL has started a roll with the Glitters.
