A Place for Lava Lamp & Vintage Lights Fans All Over The World
The cap is a printed lava lite, (big number is) 113D (1s trow little #) 021243P (2nd row little #) 121702 (big end #) 2 these are printed on the cap not a paper sticker.I have now moved it to a regular 52oz base (no cut out), with a clear 40watt bulb seams to be moving a tad bit better.More a column, but gets to the top now. pictures are before I moved to the other base.does the lava just need broken in? spike , 2 hours

What happens if you try another 52z globe in the Camel base. When I had mine I ran a 40w R-16 Spot light bulb. A lot of the heat goes out the logo area. But first see what another globe will do.
A little slow but then starts flowing like normal.
They do loose alot of heat from the bulbs thru the logo. Once summer is here and the home is not as cool they will run great once more. If not the R-16 40w spot lite bulb should work fine since most of the heat will go straight up.
the lamp had 2 globs in it every time I try to sneek up on it stays in a colunm. It was seen by my husband and son but when I am there they there it just sits, I think it has a mind of its own and does not like me. LOL ! LAMP FROM HELL! is its new name.
A 60w bulb will tell all. Try one for a few hours and see what happens. Do Not over run the 60w bulb I will only use it to see if the lava will flow and if it does I will add a dimmer to it and turn it down some what.
Its picking up a more speed every day !
