Now this will be very interesting to see what happens. We now have the best Lamps coming over here and with free shipping on orders over $99.00 and then only $7.99 on lamps under that $99.00 mark. The shipping is cheaper then LLs lamps and the quality will be 100% better with the globes and with there one piece base and caps which have a thicker Aluminium then LL.
There warrenty is much better then LLs lamps so I wonder now if LL will offer the same warrenty as Mathmos has done.
I also wonder if Mathmos will make super cheap and cloudy mystic lamps for the people here in the states who want to only buy a $20.00 no matter how they look and run.
This will take some time for Mathmos to become the Lava Leader here in the states since LL has killed the market for many yrs with there Cheap and even Cheaper lamps.
What is going to be great to see once more is a Lava lamp for sale here in the states that is NOT MADE IN CHINA but now Made in England.
Its looks like Lava Lamps will be available some time in April as they want to make sure there on-line service will be working great.
It also looks like they will have the Lunar again or perhaps a giant Telstar and we will then be able to make such purchase.
Perhaps it will be the long awaited Smart Lunar for the future.
Well with bulbs going away Mathmos looks ahead and with its Smarts and a Lunar setup is the only way to go. Also Mathmos has been very quite about another larger lamp and they may surprise us all with a Larger Telstar/Lunar since a larger Lunar with its solid Aluminium legs would become very costly and by making the legs thinner we may have another version of a giant Telstar.
I hope it will not be a smart version... And if it is a smart version i hope that the base is made that big so that it is possible to get a 100W Spot blub in it so that we are able to repair it in the future :)
A giant Telstar would be very cool and i think it would be much taller than the Lunar.
