A Place for Lava Lamp & Vintage Lights Fans All Over The World
HI everyone,
I am new here, and just wanted to join up as I have a lamp that i am thinking of selling.
I have no idea how much something like this is worth, what it is exactly, or when it is from.
The only information I have is that my parents achieved it as a wedding gift about 40 years ago.
Can anyone help me out with working out how much something like this would be sold for?
I don't have the glass fibre optic thing anymore, my parents threw it away years ago, as the glass would constantly break and in-bed into the carpet and then into people's feet.
Thanks
Nathan

The only problem I see here is that without the Fiber optic strands the value is not much at all. This lamp which reminds me of a Fantasia Centurion is all about the lit fibers.
As Bohdan says, without the fiber optic spray, it will be hard to sell, as they don't make the spray anymore. You may have some luck selling it as a table lamp tho.
Yeah it is a bit of a bummer that the fibre optic part is missing, but it still has its own architectural charm as a piece. But yeah obviously for collectors the appeal really lies in the lit fibres.
Will give it a go to sell it, but really have no idea what kind of figure to even ask.
This lamp was made by Bendix in Australia. I love this design as the base also illuminates too.
