This will be a place to add new lamps from the few Companies that still make and sell Lava lamps along with there other cool lights .

Over time I see Mathmos as the main leader for this forum from there Lava to there other lights.

What will Lava Lite bring to the table for the world to buy. Looks like they may have there factory here in 2015 but will it have the machines to make the lamps or will it just be a place to assemble the lamps as they arrive from China which will be cheaper to make it happen.

If you see something new or even something that is still for sale post it here like these that can still be bought and are now on sale for $10.00 with there flared plastic see thru base with nice looking  top base port holes.

Perhaps one day soon we will see a Dr Who Lava lamp.

As always Mathmos has released there special 50th for us in this great looking color with its rear logo.

Love the look on this lamp.

Well, for us Americans in the States, no luck with buying one. I wonder if Ant would sell us one and ship it? ;)

What is a Shame is the fact that LL does not want any buying American to contact Mathmos and buy a lamp from them and have it shipped to us. They have place a hold on Mathmos to not make it happen therefore they have stopped all in the states to buy/own a made in England lamp. Even Now Mathmos England site no longer has the American Flag logo as an order point.

They know they can't compete.....I really have started to hate LL

A few new lamps today at Spencers. The salesperson who we know as we walked thru the mall waved us over to look at the new additions. Now the Dark Royal Blue liquid version with the purple wax was very hard to see flowing yet the vase was clear and then came the Dark Emerald green liquid version with the Black wax and also very hard to see the lamp in motion and thats with the lights on around the display. I mentioned that LL still has no way of knowing what the right colors should be used for with darker wax as these. They should have done the Black wax version with yellow liquid so as to see the wax a flowing and the same for the purple wax version these lamps are so bad to look at What a Shame. The box has the correct looking color shown but the inside is all wrong. I mentioned no point in buying them only to return them with wasted time.

I see Spencers has now stocked the Pink liquid with white lava and have also released the Pink liquid with blue lava.

I will wait and see what they look like if Spencers has them up and running since you never know what the globes may turn out to be in there short run time. It has taken LL 13 years to reach this point with there lamps.

What is up with LL. The liquid is clear yet sooo dark to see with a dark pink liquid and dark blue wax. The same goes for the very dark green and very dark blue liquids with the black and purple wax. They finally came out with clear white dye free vase only to have made the liquid sooo dark and by adding the dark wax not good at all. They have also re-issued the Pink liquid with white lave in the 52z line and this one looks great and runs great.

There seems to be very little quality control as they are made in China shipped over and sold as is. Quality control would have caught the very dark liquid and then told China to Make it Lighter for the better to see the lamp work. Just like the Orange liquid with Black wax if the orange was a lighter shade this would have been a perfect lamp.

Looks like LL is making a run with 32z lamps and so far they have been very good.

The only thing to watch out for is after a while the shrink wrap on the Tie dye version started to lift off the base as it got hot. What I had to do was use a pin to make a hole in the wrap and then press it back. The wrap looks fine again and the pin hole cannot be seen. Also the shrink wraps are not placed on even as the top and bottom of the base are out of sink. This appears also on the back as the center line up is uneven.

Mathmos came out with the Heritage line in the Astro and now LL will make it also happen with the same name in there Heritage line up. I wonder if this will be there new Heritage Century and then will they follow up with the Wizard and its Flared out bottom base. Will LL still have the 2 piece machine pressed base or will they finally make that one piece Century base just like the Mathmos Astro. LL still has the fittings of there last nice copper Lantern so they just may make it happen once more. All of this rests on how well the 52z globes will be and hopefully they will continue to use the same formula as there new 32z lamps have and add it to the 52z line.

LL is on a roll with there new Clearview series in Neons. This one is Lime Neon base with a Neon pink wax lamp the globes are clear and free of air spots. Also there is a new 32z Rainbow with the color Green/Blue to Red on the globe there older run started with Red on the bottom. LL will have a few more of the ColorMax series out in 32z. The rear still has the switch on it and the photo still shows that switch on the front.

I spoke to the Spencers manager and was told that there may be a special lamp coming in around 2 to 3 weeks. It looks like they may have a limited run on the Heritage line time will tell.
