My dangerous beauty! This is a Mathmos Lunar lamp, with a homemade bottle, made from old Crestworth liquid and flakes. You won't find another one like this (yet...)

@Bohdan: Thanks for the compliment :-)

@James:

First I prepared all the bottles by cutting the bakelite caps (too complicate to remove the hard glue, so I chose the easier way, nevermind the caps are lost).

After this, I just used a funnel and acted fast, pourring all the bottles one after one.

I guess I lost a little liquid in the air but not too much.

With 5 bottles + 1 only at 2/3 full, the liquid level is just about 4mm above the Cone.

That was close!

I used the same system as you did to seal the cap: teflon tape (around 15 turns).

No smell at all for the moment, but I may use some epoxy above this to secure it (I'm not sure the epoxy will work on the black plastic cap though).

PS: Music is from the same band as in the Sconce video: Astral Projection

How did you get the liquid transferred safely? I hear the old stuff is quite volatile. The music's great btw.

Great looking Lunar with its glitter flowing away. This took sometime to make it happened and turned out great.
