The Goo kits were made for the Grande and over time they started to use them for smaller lamps. Trying to get them to run right in a smaller lamp is no fun. The wax heats up very fast and then you have to lower the bulb watts to have it flow better and then you may have to play with the liquid.

Thx bunches for the info. Yes we have Spencers will definitely check it out. I just revamped 2 lamps with a new Goo kit, & they are sluggish. Its all new to me, I will read more & try to figure it out. But the fill idea is great.

If you have a Spencers in your area the only lamps I would use from them for a refill would be one of these.

they seem to be very clear and run great. The color max ones on the right have white lava inside them and seem to also run nice and clear. They are 32z globes there other lamps in 52z globes are no worth the time.

What is the 5 below ? I don't know the lingo, but am learning. On vacation for a few weeks, & was in the process of tweaking a couple lamps just finished w/ a goo kit, that was very sluggish.
Can't wait to get back & see what I did wrong.

These lamps are almost the same as the ones sold in the 5below shops they work great and also make great lamps for larger refills.
