The vase is a 52z LW China # H5201 Rainbow. Over the years the color started to peel off and the globe looked hazy. So today I used a blade and scrapped the flaky paint off which came off fast and low and behold the vase is clear and the wax is still nice and White.

This is a perfect addition for the Mathmos lamps.

I have been asked about the top black cap by members who have this lamp. The cap was made with an inner retainer to hold the heavy top as to when this lamp is used with Mathmos globes since they have the screw on seal cap. I also added a rubber flat washer so the heavy top does not move at all.
