Who remembers these lamps from 1999 by U.S.A. LW. They could be bought at the time from Spencers which had them on display.

Tried to seperate light /socket from large base. Got everything out and hooked up but I think the voltage regulator(?) part has to be closer to base. If anyone has an idea please post.

Here is a photo of what they still make however its China and the cost is around $45.00. They stand at 18"tall and 7" wide.

I know of a few of the Lava employees who went to work for Lumisource, after Lava shutdown its USA manufacturing business and decided to buy in product from China. I always wondered if there was a relationship between the two companies? I like these and remember that in Lava's office Barr Hall had some on display.

They were made by the same company called Lumisource back in 1999. Back then the glass was hand blown and the cost for the smaller ones were at 120.00 to 130.00 for the larger version. Perhaps over time the glass was no longer hand blown since they came out with cheaper models.

These were the best units out there.

Hey Bohdan. What was the difference between these lamps made by Lava and the ones made by Lumiscource?
