The story behind this version was that the first run had the Green liquid with White wax but then LW USA began to run out of such vase and they placed the Yellow-Red wax version in its place.

I love love the detail on the base and top of this lamp. This is comic fan's dream! - These kinds of lamps just make a great statement. Spiderman to the rescue!
