The purple version really stands out once a Black lite is added.

With this new run of the wave from LW you now saw the ends as clear caps to stop the problems of the older waves with the inner seal that at times would let air into the vessel. LW made the vessels with a little air inside because if left on a windowsill with the sun the liquid would expand and the seal would blow.

You can see why the Orange really stands out as a Wave.

The last run from LW with the waves came early in 2000. They released 4 tube models with sound and the cost was $29.99 at the time. The early run of the waves with the black with inner seal vessels had problems over time as the rubber inner seal would slowly leak and let inner air into the vessel. When ever you see an older wave for sale most of the time there is quite a bit of air inside yet no outer leak can be seen at times. The new tubes by LW were not a big success and shortly after they could be bought at a WalMart for $9.99 which is what I did and bought 3 at the time. The orange version was the rare one to have followed they the greenShown here is my new still in box Purple version.

The 16F took on a new look once the Black lite was turned on.
