As you probably noticed, I am new to this forum. I am an antique dealer and I just occationally find Lava Lamps to buy and sell. If you don't mind, I am hoping you can help me identify a couple if my pieces.

Here is a two-toned burgandy red lamp with reddish purple lava. Measures 16 1/2 inches high by 4 inches wide. The markings on the cap are" Lava Lite 18 990204 021799MS". What can you tell me about this one... the year, the value, the rarity?

What you have here is a Cranberry Marble #18 means wax is Cranberry in color. Was made in 1999. They are very hard to find in good condition and as for cost its all up to who wants it bad enought and if you have a nice bidding war going on. I have seen them sell for between $50.00 and up to $175.00 it all depends on the bidders. Yours looks great and the liquid is clear. Your Lava Lite white seal cap means Made in USA. They have such a great look to them.
