The giant iO for tables or floors stands at a colossal 78cm (2.5ft) tall. Designed by Mathmos in collaboration with award-winning light designers J.Coles and J.French, the new lamp is made of chromed precision cast metal and available in three lava colourways. Taking inspiration from 1960s TV's, the iO has two viewing angles and can be fixed down making it perfect for both public and domestic spaces. Yes Bodhan, they have a halogen strip, seems to save a lot of space in the base.

I didn't get a number but not bothered tbh it's just a sales gimmick, can't see it adding any value to it?

Hard to say if it will add value I guess, prob have to wait years to find out. I wouldnt have been too bothered if I didnt get a number but at the same time I'm really glad I did, its a really nice touch. 

I was really surprised they included three bulbs too Bohdan!

iO uses an 80w R7s 78mm Linear Halogen Capsule bulb. This bulb is used to both heat and light iO and is available from Mathmos and elsewhere. Three are included with every iO.
