A Place for Lava Lamp & Vintage Lights Fans All Over The World
Just wondering how much a Carramar Volcano Lamp Clear/Yellow Brand New In Box is worth. Cheers.
The box is somewhat similar to what the midnight's from LL came in - Tall rectangular with a coloured section on one side.
The only time I've seen a Carramar volcano lamp in original packaging was on ebay a few years ago (it was a clear/green) in used condition and it sold for $172. Not sure if it sold for so high because it was original packaging or because of the color combo. Anyway, hope someone can help me out.

One just sold on ebay for 20 bucks , the value depends on the demand really, there arent many collectors here in Australia. I would say the yellow isn' the most popular, they came in several colours and the hardest to find would be the clear/orange.
The main problem now with these lamps is that you cannaot get replacement bulbs for them here anymore , so a lot of people are selling them because of this.
Yes mate another Aussie, welcome to the site.
Join the Carramar group I have set up on the main page , theres some pics of members Carramars , would be great to add yours.
You did really well to get one brand new for that price....congrats , I usually see some go for 50 - 70 bucks of late in Antique stores, some are in bad shape tho.
They are a beautiful lamp , made well , very heavy and sturdy, the flow on them is good. Just make sure you don't let yours overheat as they are known to leek the wax dye into the clear fluid , especially the dark blue one.
