Collecting Vandor lava Lamps.

For sometime now Vandor has been taking Lava lamps from LW and adding there design to them.

They have also had other styles made that would use there globes in the 52z models.

My most favorite Lava from Vandor is The Doors Lava Lamp. Came with one great looking and running 52z clear liquid/Black lava. Other globes look great with this lamp also like a clear/red which I call The Light my Fire doors lamp.

Vandor also over time released a few lamps that they redid with the original base. They would repaint them add diamond looking rocks to the base and had the globes done with signatures. The Elvis one was the first time in many years to be done once more in an Orange liquid with white lava gobe and it flowed very well.
These did sell out very fast.

Using the same base but now painted the Betty Boop was created, and yes the 52z globes were very cloudy.

Let us not forget Marilyn Monroe. They were on a roll with the diamond rock glitter paste. I always wondered how the base would have looked like if they also had inner pin holes shinning thru the rocks.

Now for the Rolling Stones Lava Lamp . These did sell out and many arrived with good running 52z globes. What was a shame is that these lamps were sold with China made globes they would have done better to have USA ones installed with them.

My most favorite lamp was the Jimi Hendrix one. Came with base painted in a purple metallic and had a great running globe.

The last in this seies was I love Lucy which did not do very well in sales.

Now this Coca Cola one from Vandor was very well made and came with a USA 52z globe.
It had pin holes around the bottom base to let it shine out and really lite the bottom iceberg.

Two wonderful looking lamps were the Beatles. The Yellow Submarine and the very rare and hard to find Sgt. Pepper .

Both came with 52z USA Blue liquid white lava globes. Both were very heavy and well built by Vandor and were about 20" tall. Seems Vandor did there best work on the Ceramics and Resins. I also ran the hard to find at times Rainbow 52z globe from LW on the Pepper lamp. That globe runs well and gives you that color lava flow.

Vandor released 2 cool Harley Davidson lamps with there great flowing USA 52z Clear liquid Black lava globes.
 With these lamps the lava looked like oil flowing. Two lamps were made and there price with box can go for quite a bit.

A few lamps by Vandor were released in the Superhero series. Here is one called Batman which came with the 52z Clear liquid Black lava. I liked running mine with this USA purple vase which has now become very hard to find.

Added was WonderWoman. This lamp came with a great looking 52z USA globe in Yellow liquid Red lava. The one shown has my 52z Clear with Red lava.

Two versions of Superman were made. One as a side version in flight as shown here which both came with 52z Blue liquid White lava. The other version looks like he is flying straight at you.
