Collecting NECA made lava lamps.

An all classic one for Halloween. The Nightmare Before Christmas lamp.  This one came with the hard to find in 52z globe #28 which is Green liquid w/white lava. I will run this one with other globes at times since finding another like one would be very hard .

Yeah I had to goo kit my Simpsons,

it just wouldn't move.

I thought about adding propelene Glycol but it was also cloudy so,..

I love how detailed these bases and caps were, they really told a story and were just as great as Lava's Icon series.

I recently was able to find one of these! The only thing is that the bottle has a Low Water level so I would like to replace it.. Since you replaced the bottle, would you be able to tell me what kind of bottles fit? I was hoping to use a mathmos astro bottle.. Would that work?

If the water level is low what I have done is removed the cap carefully and added distilled water for the proper level. I still have the original globe and yes that one had the water added to it. I see LL China now has the 52z Green liquid white wax globe for sale however it comes in the lamp shade model and the cost around $60.00. Any other standard 52z lamp from LL should work the cost is around $25.00.

The Astro came with the older large screw cap and the newer came with the smaller cap so this may work out fine. Here is a photo of the inside with packing and that hard to find inner tag not many have been seen with this tag.
