Welcome to Oozing Lava.
The Carramar lamps are really nice, I have a few of them, love the shape of the lamp , the colours and the flow of the lamps. Love how heavy the 1st edition lamp is. Keep an eye on ebay cos they do pop up and sometimes go for a reasonable price. The bulbs are hard to find, I did manage to get a couple of bulbs.
You will need to look for a 30watt E27 short bulb, they are the shorter bulb which are not easy to find , you can also use a 40Watt or 30 Watt pygmy bulb or oven bulb, the 25 Watt ones only just work but do not flow the best, the higher wattage ones are harder to find now. We have a thread on the Carramar bulbs in the Carramar group on the site, add me as a friend so I can add you to the group so you can see the pics of the original and alternative bulbs you can use.
Ah that's great, does the lamp flow well with that bulb?
The original bulb can tend to overheat.
I love these Carramar rocket lamps. It is like an Astro but is a rocket :)
