A Place for Lava Lamp & Vintage Lights Fans All Over The World
I have started to cut up both Bright Source lamps and will modify them as needed to make Wizard/Carlisle lamps. This will take some time to make it happen also will make it so that they will both use a standard 40w A15 type bulb not the short 40w E26 that came with it which will be hard to find over time.

What these lamps look like inside now this will be fun to modify!
As you can see LL added 3 rubber pads to cushion and hold the vase nice touch!
Also once apart I will seal with a brown or black caulk around the bottom inner plate before I assemble it to keep out light once it is turned on. With the lamp on your eyes can see light shining thru some areas around the bottom not good.
I have to get me a pair of these before they are all gone
$20 ea is a steal
Yes I got 2 and with shipping came in around $56.00.
Did you use the 25% coupon by the PRM Deal.
Once the bottom felt is off I removed the 2 screws that hold plate to inner bar I then removed all wiring and took out bracket. I cut off 1/16" of each hold end piece rewired the original socket as a simple 2 wire connector and reinstalled the bottom plate to the inner socket bar. I also used a brown caulk seal around the bottom plate before its final tightening this will keep the light from shinning thru as I saw when these lamps were still original. I adjusted the A15 bulb socket so as not to touch that lower bracket it was easy. Once the vase is in place the bulb will not touch the vase but it is close to it which is good. The socket can be moved back all the way so as to center that bulb this worked out great.
I do like the Blue/Green glitter colour.
