Are Fantasia Cosmic Windows really worth this much?

A couple weeks ago, a Fantasia Cosmic Window sold on Ebay with box for $775.00. USD

Just Today another sold on Ebay, MINT condition with no box for $1,027.00. USD

 

 

Just a few months ago, I purchased 2 Cosmic windows for $500.00 each.

A year ago I bought one for $450.00.

I know someone who bought one 2 years ago for $75.00.

 

I understand that the Fantasia Cosmic Window is the "holy grail" of glitter lamps, but I never expected their prices to go that high so quickly.

Were these bidders crazy, or are Cosmic Windows really this valuable now?

Wow - That is a really crazy - I remember when they used to go for 300. Then 500 and now this! This is just way too crazy. The Cosmic Windows are so beautiful tho. They are one of a kind lamps. I love the design of the Fantasia Cosmic Window so much, but that is a crazy piece.
