I have a couple of these extraordinary lamps too - mine are brass, and chrome; I never really "got" the flock finish, though on Twiggy it does look right... and interestingly different

One point - I've installed much less powerful bulbs, you might like to try this, it focuses more on the lamp's shape than the pool of light, I find?

I love all the variants of Twiggy. I have the rare Orange Flock shade and also Purple.
