no coil inside...i might try remove the candle holder and just put the candle onto the bottom of the base the increase the distance between the candle and the base...

Great looking Auras. I have always wondered if the vase had a coil inside to help it flow more from the center on up thru to the top and perhaps lowering the candle with another type of a holder would help with the overheating.
