This will be a place to add new lamps from the few Companies that still make and sell Lava lamps along with there other cool lights .

Over time I see Mathmos as the main leader for this forum from there Lava to there other lights.

What will Lava Lite bring to the table for the world to buy. Looks like they may have there factory here in 2015 but will it have the machines to make the lamps or will it just be a place to assemble the lamps as they arrive from China which will be cheaper to make it happen.

If you see something new or even something that is still for sale post it here like these that can still be bought and are now on sale for $10.00 with there flared plastic see thru base with nice looking  top base port holes.

Perhaps one day soon we will see a Dr Who Lava lamp.

LL will soon released there new Heritage line-up of lamps from the USA but made in China for all to buy. Mathmos has already released there Heritage line-up in the 52z Astro line but there lamps are still all made in England. At this point it looks like LL lamps will still be China made for many many years to come its all about being Cost Effective for the USA buyers.

For the collector who needs more of LLs 20z lamps in the Clearview series 2 more have been released. One is Pink base with pink wax and the other is Dark Blue base with Blue wax. The cost is around $28.00 plus shipping.

The Lightsaber Lava Lamp is a meeting of two forces. Capture a retro feel with the lava lamp shaped as the Star Wars weapon, a lightsaber. A great gift for a Star Wars fan, the lamp will look like a quirky bit of film memorabilia sat atop a table. Lava and lightsabers aren't new to each other either, they have met before at the Battle of Mustafar where a dual of lightsabers was set to a backdrop of flowing, hot lava. This innovative pairing sees a new, practical use for the laser sword as a funky light.

There are also 2 versions of the Darth Vader series. One in glitter and the other in lava.

Spencers has added more to there new line of Clearviews in NEON. They now have a Neon Orange wax with its Neon olive green base. LL is on a roll with this new line up of 32z Neons with more colors to come.

yea....but how do they run?

LL new for 2013 Pink/White lamps in 52z are selling very well also not many Spencers have them in stock.

They look clear at the Spencer store and they run well at Home for the 32z versions However now that LL has seemed to make the vase run and look great they OVERHEAT fast after 4 hours in a 74 degree room even when using a frosted 40w bulb. They have made the wax much softer for the 32z line so with the 25w bulb for the Clearviews they will run great but as they now have added the same vase to the metal base shrink wrap line the heat is retained within the base much longer and will over heat the vase unless you use a 30w bulb which is what I have started to do. If LL will be using this formula for the new Heritage line the lamps will look and run great but will overheat quickly.

Good to know...

Well as 2013 slowly comes to and end Lava Lite has finally released the long awaited lamps. The Heritage Collection brings back Lava's iconic designs crafted with premium materials and fun color combinations.

The cost is from $40.00 for the Wizards to $50.00 for the century line and $100.00 for the Grande versions.

Hopefully these lamps will look and work great.

I like how they have made the light pin holes out of line in its Star like Constellation. The Neon Green Grande with its Black Base really stands out.

Perhaps its time to purchase a grande for the home. The green version will be a nice addition as long as it works and is clear.
