Mathmos fair trade show & a new black (not plum) Astro & baby Astro

So I get talking to a very nice chap who owns a shop here in Sunny Edinburgh called "out of the blue"......

 

Telling me he was at the September trade show ( Birmingham ) & Mathmos were there flogging their wares one of which includes a totaly new black waxed lava lamp which he has placed orders on along with the new smart astros.

 

Any thoughts?

Same as the rumour about a remodeled lunar returning, I'll believe it when I hear about it or see it from mathmos themselves !

Yeah that remodelled Lunar rumour is hilarious, I know where it started, another freak that thinks they are a Mathmos expert with secret insiders telling him what they are doing....its very funny.

However for us in the States we will never see these Lava lamps for sale here. Only when LL is dead and gone then perhaps in time Mathmos will open shop here. Till then Electric Planet is the way for us to go.

Surely when LL does die all the legal stuff like mathmos not being able to sell their lamps etc won't be legally valid as the company has folded ?
I think Mathmos was done over back in the day when they sold the formula to LL as they could sell their lamps here in the UK but Mathmos couldn't sell in the USA !
