Marvin the Martian Lunar Lamps.

Collecting these and other Marvin the Martian lava lamps. The taller ones used a bullet style globe while the smaller version used a HotRocks globe. The taller version was 19" tall and the shorter one was 17".

The Chrome version is the hardest one to find. It came with a plain box nothing fancy and in a limited run. The black version was released with the photo box. These came out in 1999 they were made by New Faniful Industries for Warner Bros.

The shorter version was released in 1998 and sold for $69.00 this version was made by Lipan Industries for Warner Brothers. I have seen the taller Chrome version with box go for up to $300.00 on a good day.

And a close up of the base/caps. The HotRocks version use a 40w bulb and the taller version used 25w to 30w because they came with a liquid lava when cold.

Another very rare Marvin the Martian lava lamp would be this one with its Orange lava. This one stands 21" tall and only a few were made.

I have the marvin 17" above in the middle but with a broken globe.  Can you help me out with a new globe?

The Middle globe is also from a lava company called Hot Rocks there lamps can be found on Ebay at times at a low cost.

Here is a pic of the same Marvin with a clear/yellow globe. Hot Rocks globes a while ago came with 22 colors they even made glitter which was great for the summer months to run with.

Another added photo of my two favorite Marvins. They both came with Clear liquid and Green wax for the Chrome version and Clear liquid with Red wax for the Black version. Notice on the top of the base which has the matching color circle I always wondered if the bottom 3 colored circle done in Blue and Yellow where to be the liquid colors but instead the got a clear liquid.
