Is it Rare or Custom

I have been looking at this one and wonder if this Lava Lite vintage version is a Custom or the real Item from the 60s. The vase looks like a refill since after sooo many years the liquid and lava would not be this nice looking. This may have been a proto-type yet no other photos have been listed on this version. Since this version may be from the 60s it is very strange that Lava lite vintage made this one using ceramics.

This one went for almost $700.00. Proto-types like these are very hard to prove if they are such since this version has a 2 piece base and can be done as such. Now if there were photos dated to the time of this lamp sitting somewhere in Lava Lites office back in the day then yes the bidding would have been alot more then this.
