A Place for Lava Lamp & Vintage Lights Fans All Over The World
Now that Mathmos 50th has ended and there Ann. was a great success with all of there great looking lamps and many new Classics I wonder what LLs 50th will be. Mathmos is still a great icon that is still made in England however LL as an icon is now made in China so is it really considered an American icon. Will LL be releasing said 52z and 32z in there 50th gold color and will they still have the Heritage formula lamps that were to be the best that they could make using premium parts.
We shall soon see what they will have for this year and what there greatest 50th Ann. lamps will be.

This may seem pretty crazy but I have seen the colormax globes to have the paint rub off where the metal base touches the base but also the paint smells very nasty when the lamp heats up, I wonder whats in it?
As with most of the color painted globes the paint will start to wear off the base as it is touched and moved. Also the ones that have that caution label on the painted globe at times as you try to remove it you also remove the painted area.
Here are 3 LL Classic Beatles lava/glitter lamps to look for to add to your collection. The center glitter version has been seen with Star shaped silver glitter in a clear liquid.
Hi Bohdan! Have you seen the earth one? I am wondering what it looks like in person?
I have seen them however they are the 20z globes which I stay away from.
I like the silver stars in the glitter. If these have good flow, they would be very nice lamps to keep. I do like the silver glitter one :)
