Now that Mathmos 50th has ended and there Ann. was a great success with all of there great looking lamps and many new Classics I wonder what LLs 50th will be. Mathmos is still a great icon that is still made in England however LL as an icon is now made in China so is it really considered an American icon. Will LL be releasing said 52z and 32z in there 50th gold color and will they still have the Heritage formula lamps that were to be the best that they could make using premium parts.

We shall soon see what they will have for this year and what there greatest 50th Ann. lamps will be.

Mathmos 50th gave us great flowing and crystal clear globes with more color to there base/caps.

There 50th box art was also very well done and looked great.

Here we have a double play vase from LL. As you can see the vase is a 52z with what looks like a 12z vase with lava inside as you can also see the top cap is larger since they had to recut the top of the 52z lamp so the smaller vase would fit from within. This looks like what the new LL is all about making something very unique. We just may see this version in other colors.

Here we have another great addition from LL. I wonder if there 50th anniversary lamps will be like wise. They have even added glitter versions to the Beatles.

I do miss the Ceramic versions in there 52z globes.

What do you think of the glitter ones Bohdan?

LLs glitter will never be the same as it was. The best working and looking glitter out there today is from 5below.

As you can see there glitter is well made.

Another Classic coming from LL China. They are on a nice roll with the Beatles.

I have been watching the operation of these Lava Beatles edition lamps and I can see why they made them so so short to view. The flow is not so good and they remind me of the other edition of the Kiss lamps in a set of 4 they had big time problems with them from cloudy to lava sticking to the vase and a fast overheating issue. Not good.

Here we have another new 20z lamp from LL China. They say the globe is hand painted yet the base is a wrap. Perhaps they need to add a hand painted base/cap for there next lamps but in a 32z or 52z version the 20z lamps are just small with poor working lava within. Called the White Blk mini dot.

I wonder if the contents of the bottle are different colours or if it is just a clear/white with paint on it. Wish I could get these wired for the UK:

How cool are those!!!!!!!

Here is the next one! Blizzard Lamp! Why do they keep making some variations of the same thing?
